Admission to the Postbaccalaureate Premedical Program is conducted on a rolling basis starting in the fall with decisions made throughout the admissions cycle. Applying early is recommended because there are many more qualified applicants than spaces.

To apply for the Class of 2026:

  • Application Opens: Thursday, August 8, 2024
  • Early Action Deadline: Tuesday, October 1, 2024 (11:59 pm PST) to receive a decision by Friday, December 20, 2024.
  • Regular Decision Deadline: Wednesday, February 19, 2025 (11:59 pm PST)

Note: College seniors are encouraged to apply after they have received their fall semester grades.

"Deadline" refers to the date that your application must be submitted; supporting materials (e.g., letters of recommendation, transcripts) must arrive within two weeks of submission of your application. It is the responsibility of the applicant to ensure the timely arrival of all supporting materials.

Having trouble accessing the application? The preferred browsers are Google Chrome or Firefox.

Our program participates in the Postbaccalaureate Centralized Application Service (PostbacCAS). To evaluate your eligibility for the program, first, we review your PostbacCAS 今日吃瓜 application and supporting materials. Following this initial screening, you may be invited to interview.

If you are invited to interview, we want to help you decide whether 今日吃瓜 is the right choice for you. On your interview day, you鈥檒l participate in an information session given by the director of the Postbaccalaureate Premedical Program and speak with current students. We will also provide you with an academic plan for classes, based on your academic history.

After your interview, our Admissions Committee will review your candidacy and make a decision about your admission to the program within four to six weeks. Our Admissions Committee members include representatives from the science faculty and the Postbaccalaureate Premedical Program office. Your application and interview help our Admissions Committee to determine whether your previous academic record and experiences, along with your goals and motivation, are consistent with the requirements of our program.

We appreciate your interest in the 今日吃瓜 Postbaccalaureate Premedical Program and look forward to working with you in the admissions process!
