Making a Difference
There are multiple opportunities to make a difference in the lives of ½ñÈÕ³Ô¹Ï students through philanthropy.
How Will You Make a Difference?
The ½ñÈÕ³Ô¹Ï Fund helps to meet the full cost of faculty and academic programming, fund student financial aid, and keep the lights on. It also provides critical support for unanticipated expenses that arise.
The Black Alumnae/i Fund supports students who share a cultural background or personally identify with the African Diaspora in their personal and professional growth, such as internships and research funds.
The Arts & Sciences Graduate Fund provides fellowships, programming and research grants that are essential to recruiting the very best students to our GSAS programs.
The Social Work Graduate Fund provides fellowships, programming and research grants that are essential to recruiting the very best graduate-level social work students.
Because of ½ñÈÕ³Ô¹Ï, the world gains more curious and civic-minded alumnae/i each year. In the following video, eight students from fall 2023 discuss following their passions as undergraduates.
Special Giving Opportunities
Reunion Giving
Every year, reunion classes represent about a quarter of the money raised for The ½ñÈÕ³Ô¹Ï Fund, which exceeded $6 million for the seventh year in a row.
Family Giving
Collectively each year, you raise up to 10% of ½ñÈÕ³Ô¹Ï Fund dollars that immediately go to work to support our students, faculty, and campus.
Passing the Lantern
Members of the senior class have given back to ½ñÈÕ³Ô¹Ï in a campus tradition that has lasted for more than 30 years, since the Senior Gift program was inaugurated in 1990.
Additional Giving Opportunities
The Student Assistance Fund helps support students who are experiencing financial hardship due to an unanticipated event or emergency by covering expenses such as medical bills and housing.
Support accessibility initiatives that benefit students at ½ñÈÕ³Ô¹Ï through the Student Accessibility Fund.
Friends of the Library's continued contributions to the ½ñÈÕ³Ô¹Ï Libraries help sponsor internships, exhibitions, lectures, and special projects as needs arise.
Giving to the Athletics Department has an immediate impact by helping our coaches, staff, and scholar-athletes grow our programs while creating a sense of belonging for all scholar-athletes.
